Preparing for Copenhagen – A Breakfast Briefing for COP15

The last report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) was prepared in 2007 but since then, scientific understanding has moved forward considerably. How well are the negotiations for the post-Kyoto multilateral arrangements beyond 2012 matching the current science? Will the arrangements be designed to reflect changing scientific developments? The aim of this breakfast briefing is to equip COP-watchers with some up-to-date perspectives against which to assess the various positions, deliberations, and outcomes at COP15.
